All men and boys who love the outdoors are invited to another incredible night of faith and fellowship at the Sportsman's Night Out at Summer Grove Baptist Church in Shreveport.

Along with a mouth-watering meal of jambalaya, attendees will be treated to the powerful message from one of America's best known anglers, Hank Parker!

Parker's forty plus year angling career includes some amazing accomplishments including his two Bassmaster Classic Championship wins in 1979 and 1989 and he's the first angler to win the B.A.S.S. Grand Slam.

Parker's competitive record includes five B.A.S.S. tournament wins, 32 top-10 finishes, and finishing "in the money" 77% of the time. He was inducted into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame in 2003.

All incredible achievements, but it's his wildly popular Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine that brings this soft spoken, delightful character into our homes most every weekend.

While all of these accomplishments would be the envy of any angler who has ever dreamed of competing professionally, it's his walk with Jesus Christ that Parker will focus on for this event, and it's a story any man or boy really should hear.

Sportsman's Night Out will be held on Thursday, September 3, indoors on the campus of Summer Grove Baptist Church.  The Tailgate Party will run from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Bell Tower Entrance 1. Afterwards, supper will be served and Hank Parker will begin at approximately 6:15 pm.

There will also be a Special Ministry Donation Drawing for a Single Antler Shed and a Garmin 10" live scope system. Each $10 donation receives one entry, so come prepared!
