What Do the Latest Early Voting Numbers Mean for Louisiana’s Elections?
SHREVEPORT, LA - Early voting is a wrap in Louisiana for the November 5th election. Several parishes saw Hernumbers close to or above record numbers from 2020.
The Secretary of State's Office reports a total of 960,561 people have either voted in person at one of the locations across the state or they have sent in a mail-in ballot. There is a chance we could top the 1 million mark once all of the mail-in ballots are received. The deadline for mail-in ballots to be received is Monday, November 4 at 4:30pm. You can also hand deliver your mail in ballot by that same deadline.
How Many Locals Have Voted Early?
In Caddo Parish more than 39,000 people have voted early or by mail. In Bossier Parish, that number is more than 27,000.
