Shreveport Woman Arrested for Two Separate Domestic Cases
Shreveport Police have arrested a woman following an investigation into two separate incidents involving her former boyfriend and their one-year-old child.
The investigation began after officers responded to a residence on Westwood Park Drive back in July. The victim reported that Latangie Monic Noiel, his former girlfriend and the mother of his child, showed up at the residence and allegedly smashed the windshields of two vehicles.
Investigators say the incident then got worse when Noiel allegedly attempted to run over the victim with her vehicle while he was standing in the front yard holding their one year-old child.
Detectives also found out about an earlier incident reported at the same residence in June. In that case, Noiel is accused of damaging a door and window to gain entry into the home before removing the child without the father's consent while he was tending to dogs in the backyard.
Investigators determined that the father had been granted temporary sole custody of the child through Caddo District Court.
Detectives also found video footage reportedly documenting both incidents, which was submitted as evidence.
Yesterday, Noiel agreed to meet with investigators for an interview but declined to provide a statement. She was subsequently arrested and transported to the Shreveport City Jail.
Noiel has been charged with:
· Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault
· Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling
· Interference with Child Custody
From SPD:
"The Shreveport Police Department continues to take domestic violence investigations seriously, particularly when the alleged actions place children in danger."
