Shreveport Is The 3rd Most Overweight City in America
Overall Shreveport is the third most overweight city in America, not literally though. The study ranks cities on 3 categories for the overall ranking.
The three categories are:
Obesity & Overweight
Health Consequences
Food & Fitness
Shreveport was ranked twelfth worst for the obesity and overweight rank, made up by the number of adults, teenagers, and children who are obese or overweight. Fourteenth worst in food and fitness went to Shreveport, a score of adults who self-reported healthy living and things like the number of local gyms and parks.
Overall Shreveport came in as what WalletHub calls the 3rd "Fattest" city in America, due to a high number of people dealing with the consequences of an obese or overweight lifestyle.
